Terms of use
Effective 26 August 2026. Version 1, pre-launch.
Read this bit first. TeamNa is in a private pilot. It is not generally available, it is changing week to week, and these terms are written for that. They are deliberately short and plain. When TeamNa launches properly they will be replaced, and we will tell you before that happens.
1. What TeamNa is
TeamNa is software for managing classes and sessions. Businesses use it to publish a timetable, take bookings, apply their own cancellation rules, sell packages and collect payments. Members and parents use it to see their schedule, book, reschedule, cancel and pay.
TeamNa does not run classes, employ instructors, or supervise anybody. The business you book with is responsible for what happens at the session.
2. Who can use it
You need to be 18 or older to hold a TeamNa account. Children do not get accounts. A parent or guardian creates a child profile inside their own account and is responsible for everything booked under it, and for having the right to give us the child's details in the first place.
During the pilot you can only join a business that has invited you. There is no public sign-up and no directory of businesses to browse.
3. Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one time code. Keep your phone and your number secure, because anyone who has both can get into your account. Tell us or your business straight away if you think someone else has access.
Give us accurate details and keep them current. It is what the reminders rely on.
4. Bookings, cancellations and credits
The business sets the rules, and TeamNa applies them. The cancellation cut-off, what a late cancellation costs, whether reschedules are capped, how long a package lasts: all of that is chosen by the business, and the app shows you the outcome before you confirm.
- A credit is deducted when a session is booked, not when it is attended.
- Cancel before the cut-off and the credit comes back. Cancel after it and the business's late cancellation rule decides what happens.
- If the business cancels a session, the credit always comes back, whatever the rule says.
- Packages expire on the date shown when you buy them. Unused credits are lost at expiry unless the business chooses otherwise.
If you think a policy outcome was wrong, take it up with the business first. We record what rule was applied and why, so the conversation can be about facts.
5. Money
Prices are set by the business and charged in UAE dirhams. Card payments are handled by a licensed payment provider, and the money is paid out to the business, not to us. TeamNa takes a percentage platform fee on payments processed through the app, agreed with each business. There is no subscription during the pilot.
Refunds are the business's decision. They set the policy, they approve the refund, and TeamNa is the mechanism that carries it out. We do not refund on a business's behalf and we cannot overrule them.
Members: your contract for the classes is with the business, not with TeamNa.
6. If you run a business on TeamNa
You are responsible for:
- Publishing a schedule and a policy that are accurate, and honouring them.
- The lawfulness of your classes and any licences your activity needs.
- Having the right to enter your members' details, and telling them their data is being handled in TeamNa.
- Whatever your staff accounts do inside your business.
- Your own tax and accounting on the money you collect.
You instruct us to hold and process your members' data so we can run the service for you. We will not use it for anything else.
7. What you must not do
- Try to reach another business's data, or another member's.
- Probe, scrape or overload the service, or work around its limits.
- Use TeamNa for anything unlawful, or to send anyone messages they have not asked for.
- Share an invite code with people the business has not invited.
- Impersonate someone, or create an account for someone who has not asked for one.
8. Availability, and what a pilot means
There is no uptime guarantee. TeamNa is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. Things will break, features will change, and we will sometimes take the service down to fix something. We will tell pilot businesses in advance where we can.
Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose. We take backups and we take them seriously, and we still would not want a business's only copy of its register to live in a product this young.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, TeamNa is not liable for lost revenue, lost bookings, lost data or any indirect loss arising from using the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the platform fees we have collected from you in the three months before the claim. During the pilot that number may well be zero, which is the honest consequence of running a pilot rather than selling a product.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else the law says cannot be limited.
10. Ending it
You can stop using TeamNa whenever you like and delete your account from the app. A business can leave the pilot at any time; tell us and we will export your data and close the account.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts other people's data at risk, or that is being used unlawfully. Except in an emergency, we will tell you why first.
11. Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top when these terms change, and tell pilot businesses directly when a change matters. Carrying on using TeamNa after a change means you accept it.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the UAE have jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. Getting hold of us
During the pilot, contact the business you joined through and they will reach us, or use the early access form on the home page. A published support address arrives with the public launch.
